About me
I am Teacher John, 28 years of age and from the Philippines. I am a passionate teacher who values collaboration, engagement, and uniqueness inside the classroom. I always make sure that my students have a connection with the topic as well as to their classmates and to me as the teacher. My teaching philosophy is rooted in existentialism, which believes that every individual is a unique individual. Hence, I value the unique learning styles of every student, as they have their own unique way of learning.
As a person, I love to hike and enjoy outdoor activities because they let me see and discover the beautiful creations of God, which give me inner peace and healing of my soul. Also, I am a dancer, a little bit of a singer, and an artist.

As someone who is goal-driven, I am very passionate about teaching and inspiring others, seeing it not just as a profession but as a calling to shape young minds and cultivate what is within them. I consider every lesson I share to be guided by the desire to inspire my students and help them discover their strengths, embracing their uniqueness as a person. I believe that education has the power to transform lives, and I strive to make a meaningful difference in each learner I encounter. Watching my students grow, overcome challenges, and gain confidence fuels my dedication even more. Teaching allows me to touch lives in ways that go beyond the classroom, and that is what drives my heart for this vocation.
Education
I graduated from Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences, and Technology with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English. With a strong desire and commitment for personal and professional development, I pursued my master’s degree in Master of Arts in Education with a major in English at St. Mary’s College of Tagum Incorporated and successfully graduated last March 2020. Further, with my desire for excellence in my academic pursuit, I enrolled in the University of the Immaculate Conception with a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a major in Applied Linguistics and graduated last December 2023.
