About me
I am Prince Cyrill P. Macain, a dedicated and passionate English teacher with a strong background in language studies and education. I am hardworking, enthusiastic, and self-driven, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. I adapt easily to challenging situations and always strive to give my best in everything I do. My goal is to inspire students to love learning and to develop strong communication skills that will help them succeed in life.

As a teacher, I am patient, responsible, and committed to helping my students grow academically and personally. I believe that every learner has unique strengths and deserves encouragement and support. I focus on creating a positive and respectful classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and participating in discussions. I also value discipline, creativity, and continuous improvement in my teaching practice.
Education
I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies from Mindanao State University – General Santos City. My academic journey began with honors in elementary and high school and continued through senior high school under the Humanities and Social Sciences strand. I also completed Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) training and earned additional educational units in Bachelor of Elementary Education. My thesis focused on critical discourse analysis of political speeches, which strengthened my research and analytical skills.
Work Experience
I have several years of experience teaching English in both online and classroom settings. I worked as a part-time Online ESL Teacher from 2020 to 2024, helping students improve their speaking, reading, and writing skills. I also served as a volunteer tutor during Brigada Eskwela and as a college instructor at Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges. Currently, I am working as a Secondary English Teacher at Tedssabanjunghua School in Phatthalung Province, Thailand, where I teach and guide students in developing their English proficiency and confidence.
Certifications
I am a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines and Civil Service eligible. I also hold a TESOL certification from the International Open Academy, which prepared me to teach English to speakers of other languages effectively. These certifications reflect my commitment to professional growth and my qualifications to teach in both local and international settings.
